This December the 12 strong rowing boat Britannia III will leave the port of San Sebastian La Gomera at the same time as the Woodvale Atlantic Race. The boat is the first of its kind and the crew a multinational mixed sex group of 12 with a wide range of sporting and adventurous backgrounds.

Welcome to the web site of the Woodvale Works Record breaking crew on board Britannia III. We are aiming to break the current record of 33 days set in 2007 and in the process enjoy one of the great adventures and one of the few really extreme events on the face of the globe.

There can be no guarantee of success - it is an ocean and if there were a guarantee there would be no challenge, nothing to overcome. This is about cutting edge technology combined with core values of hard work, detailed planning, team work, loyalty and commitment in achieving our goal.
